Believers Council Adopts Aguariavwodo for Delta Central Senatorial Bye-Election
The Believers Council Nigeria a pressure group in Delta State has adopted Hon. Chief Emmanuel Edesiri Aguariavwodo as candidate for the Delta State Central Senatorial bye-election scheduled for October 5th, 2013
Rising from a meeting at Asaba, National Co-ordinator of the group Comrade Reuben Izeze spoke on reasons why the group adopted Hon. Aguariavwodo.
"After due consultations with major political players that share our ideology especially His Excellency the Governor of Delta State Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan we have resolved to throw our weight behind the candidacy of Hon. Chief Emmanuel Edesiri Aguariavwodo".
The Believers Council has also set up a campaign team and a monitoring team to see to the success of the elections billed for next month.
The group had earlier observed a minute silence in honor of the late Senator PiusAkpor Ewherido whose demise necessitated the oncoming bye-election in the Delta Central Senatorial District.
Other leaders present at the meeting include Comrade Ologe Elijah, Comrade Michael Akpobire, Comrade Vwegba Owhofarodor, Comrade Prince Donaldson Onosakponome, Comrade Nelson Egware, Comrade Sanco Ovie, Comrade Omoko Vincent, Comrade Obaro Mukoro, Comrade Tisha Matthew, Comrade Regha Godfrey, Comrade Fidelis Uviase among others.
